Strategic Study of CAE 2005, Volume 7, Issue 9, Pages 61-64
The liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) has multifarious risks associated with fire or explosion in theThe leak of LPG can induce disasters including flash fire, unconfined vapor cloud explosion (UVCE), boilingIn this paper, occuring condition and risk of those disasters are analyzed.Quantified risk analysis (QRA) is used in consequence assessment. The assessment method for the hazards to the environment by UVCE and BLEVE is researched.

Strategic Study of CAE 2005, Volume 7, Issue 3, Pages 59-63
The purpose of this paper is to study how the high-temperature smoke would affect the steel constructions of the national theater. CFD method and empirical equations are employed to calculate the temperatures in the huge public hall interactively. A steel construction safe temperature of 250℃ is determined, and the calculated smoke temperatures are under the determined steel construction safe temperature, which proves the steel constructions of the national theater will pot be damaged by the smoke produced in fires.
